The village has top quality restaurants and country pubs with Flookburgh Steam gathering taking place once a year.
Only 2 miles from Cartmel Square and one mile from Holker Hall Stately Home with the world famous annual flower festival.
Explore the Lake District National Park easily and without a long car journey first. You will soon be in the main centres with Coniston Lake only 10 miles away and Lake Windermere only 12 miles away. Willow Tree park is also so convenient for the relatively undiscovered East Cumbria coastline and mountains.
