Coronavirus COVID-19

Posted 24 March 2020

Dear Daly Park’s Caravan Owner’s As you know the Prime Minister declared a National Emergency last night and the government has put in place severe restrictions on travel outside your home and have put in place measures to aid this. Among these measures is the closure of caravan parks many of the parks in the area have closed already such as Holgates, Beetham, Lake District Estates and Holker Group Parks among a few

Therefore in accordance with the government directive we have to close our parks effective immediately and remain closed until such time the government tells us we can reopen. If you are on the park already we ask that you leave the park by 4pm Tuesday the 24th March 2020. Anyone at home must not come to the park until we have been advised by the government that you can return. No visits are permitted during this closure.

None of us in our lifetime have had to face anything the like of what is happening in not only our country but around the world and it is our social responsibility to consider our part in the spread of this virus and on the strain on the local communities we are a part of. We all need to play our part in stopping this deadly virus and protect our families, loved ones, friends and communities.

For more information on the government closures of caravan parks the link is below and can be found in the section Closing Non-essential Shops And Public Spaces where the directive lists the closure of hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, campsites, caravan parks and boarding houses.

We ask all our owners to keep safe along with their families and we will be here waiting to welcome you back once we are through this challenging time our country is undergoing.

Best wishes, stay safe and well

Hugh Daly
